A little Pomeroy’s personality

Well, hello Deliboy.

Spotted our little cream-and-brown van? That’s Deliboy. If he brought you here, welcome to Pomeroy’s. We’re glad you found us.

Yes, he’s a real little van.

A little hard to miss.

From Japan to Main Street.

I’ve always been a car guy. One of my first words after “Mom” and “Dad” was “car.”

After working with the Pomeroy family for 29 years, I took ownership of the store. I wanted something unique to represent both the brand I loved and its next chapter.

I served a mission in Japan and have long admired the quality, durability, and quirky style of its vehicles. While browsing Japanese car listings, I nearly bought a Toyota Century. Then something I’d never heard of caught my eye: a 1995 Toyota Deliboy.

I knew he belonged at Pomeroy’s.

Deliboy proved himself as soon as we drove him off the dock in Long Beach. At 30 years old, with 270,000 kilometers on the clock, he made the trip to Phoenix without a single breakdown. Along the way came smiles, waves, and impromptu photo shoots. He took it all in stride.

And he’s no prop. Deliboy hauls shirts, suits, shoes, and more across the Valley. He’s part of the working life of our little shop—and he happens to turn heads while doing it.

If you see him around town, give him a wave. Then come see us at Pomeroy’s, where we believe in the same things that brought Deliboy home: durability, quality, and a healthy dose of style.

We gave him a game, too.
